Railway job
Between the track Amersfoort-Apeldoorn, there are parts of the track renewed. For Dura Vermeer Railinfra Te Kloeze Bruyl refreshed the gravel ballast.

The bulk of the work on renewing the ballast (the gravel on which the sleepers and rails lean). Ballast gravel wears down because of intensive rail use. The stones get smaller and thus lose their important function: to ensure the stability of the track. With a new ballastbed the track gets a stable position again and improves drainage. In addition, a new ballastbed is better for the environment, quieter and more comfortable for passengers.

The digging will be done using GPS on the machines. The old ballast is driven by dumpers in escrow to be sieved. The good weather ballast is incorporated in the new setup and the fine fraction is removed. The ballast is immediately processed at its correct height through the shovel in GPS. For the fine profile of the ballast we have made use of a motor graders.
